Since its creation in 2023, the ReA Short Film Festival has been bringing together people with a passion for cinema and culture around international short films.<\/p>\n
Set in the heart of La Roche-en-Ardenne and the Province of Luxembourg, the festival promotes cinematographic creation in an exceptional historical and natural setting.<\/p>\n
After two successful editions, La ReA is increasingly establishing itself as a not-to-be-missed cultural event, offering a friendly, human and festive experience for festival-goers of all ages.<\/p>\n
Every year, La ReA offers an open and dynamic programme: two screenings, a meeting with the guest of honour and musical concerts.<\/p>\n
Screenings and events include:<\/p>\n
– A selection for young people (short films for children from 4 years old): free for children, with a free brunch at the end of the session.<\/p>\n
– Meeting the guest of honour: an hour-long session with our guest to discuss their career, look back on memorable moments in cinema, or hear their behind-the-scenes stories \u2013 an hour of special moments with a world-renowned actress or actor.<\/p>\n
– The official selection: 10 international short films will be screened to a full house and a jury of industry professionals; the jury will award two prizes (the Jury Prize and the Best Screenplay Prize).<\/p>\n
The day will also feature live music: various bands from La Roche and elsewhere will be there to liven up the atmosphere on the place du Bronze.<\/p>\n
To round things off in style, we’ll have a DJ on hand in the evening, so you can dance the night away and round off this wonderful cultural day.<\/p>\n
The 4th edition of the ReA Short Film Festival will take place on 4, 5 and 6 September, and we can\u2019t wait to see you there!<\/p>\n
This year, we are proud to unveil a major new development: the 2026 Official National Selection, a brand-new selection of films in competition.<\/p>\n
