3rd edition of the ‘Rea Short Film Festival’
Since its creation in 2023, the ReA Short Film Festival has been bringing together people with a passion for cinema and culture around international short films.
Set in the heart of La Roche-en-Ardenne and the Province of Luxembourg, the festival promotes cinematographic creation in an exceptional historical and natural setting.
After two successful editions, La ReA is increasingly establishing itself as a not-to-be-missed cultural event, offering a friendly, human and festive experience for festival-goers of all ages.
Every year, La ReA offers an open and dynamic programme: two screenings, a meeting with the guest of honour and musical concerts.
Screenings and events include:
– A selection for young people (short films for children from 4 years old) : free for children, with a free brunch at the end of the session.
– Meeting with the guest of honour: an hour with our guest to discuss their career, look back on some of the most memorable moments in cinema or hear their anecdotes from filming, 1 hour of privileged moments with a famous actor/actress.
– The official selection: 10 international short films will be screened by a packed audience and a professional jury, who will award 2 prizes (jury prize, screenplay prize).
The day will also be filled with music, with various groups from La Roche and further afield providing the atmosphere in the place du Bronze.
To round things off in style, we’ll have a DJ on hand in the evening, so you can dance the night away and round off this wonderful cultural day.
