4th edition of the short film festival “La Rea Short Film Festival”

Since its creation in 2023, the ReA Short Film Festival has been bringing together people with a passion for cinema and culture around international short films.

Set in the heart of La Roche-en-Ardenne and the Province of Luxembourg, the festival promotes cinematographic creation in an exceptional historical and natural setting.

After two successful editions, La ReA is increasingly establishing itself as a not-to-be-missed cultural event, offering a friendly, human and festive experience for festival-goers of all ages.

Every year, La ReA offers an open and dynamic programme: two screenings, a meeting with the guest of honour and musical concerts.

Screenings and events include:

– A selection for young people (short films for children from 4 years old): free for children, with a free brunch at the end of the session.

– Meeting the guest of honour: an hour-long session with our guest to discuss their career, look back on memorable moments in cinema, or hear their behind-the-scenes stories – an hour of special moments with a world-renowned actress or actor.

– The official selection: 10 international short films will be screened to a full house and a jury of industry professionals; the jury will award two prizes (the Jury Prize and the Best Screenplay Prize).

The day will also feature live music: various bands from La Roche and elsewhere will be there to liven up the atmosphere on the place du Bronze.

To round things off in style, we’ll have a DJ on hand in the evening, so you can dance the night away and round off this wonderful cultural day.

The 4th edition of the ReA Short Film Festival will take place on 4, 5 and 6 September, and we can’t wait to see you there!

This year, we are proud to unveil a major new development: the 2026 Official National Selection, a brand-new selection of films in competition.
