Conference: ‘Fire risk: taking action for our forests’
When the climate fuels the fire…
In the two Ourthes nature Park, forests play an essential role in biodiversity, the landscape and quality of life. But climate change is increasing their vulnerability: more frequent droughts, higher temperatures and stronger winds are increasing the risk of fire.
The aim of this conference is to gain a better understanding of these threats, discuss best practices for prevention, and work together to identify protective measures and sustainable management strategies that can be implemented.
This event is open to all, providing an opportunity to learn, share, and take action to promote the resilience of our forests.
