I invite you to enjoy a truly unique experience: discovering packrafting on the lake of Nisramont at sunset, in that fleeting moment when the day gently fades away. Once the kayakers have left and silence has returned to the valley, the lake becomes an oasis of unspoilt nature. It is precisely this atmosphere that I want to share: we launch our packrafts straight into the water, without any prior hike, to glide gently towards the heart of the Parc naturel des Deux Ourthes.
As the light fades and the colours blend together, wildlife gradually reappears: beavers, otters, herons and kites reclaim the riverbanks and the water’s surface. In small groups—never more than five people—we savour this rare tranquillity and that sense of immediate disconnection, as if the mechanised world were left behind us.
The sunset on the lake of Nisramont has a subtle magic about it: within minutes, you find yourself immersed in a natural setting that is hard to imagine in Belgium, enveloped by a silence and a sense of life that make everything feel magical once more.
