The Robinson weekend originated, first and foremost, from a desire to bring generations together through nature. Once again, it came about through a chance encounter. Eric and his wife are biologists and keen adventurers. Together, upon their return to Belgium, they set up ‘Survie en famille’. Their aim is simple: to guide you through your journey of learning bushcraft – the art of living in the wild – so that you have all the knowledge and skills needed to turn your family trips into the great outdoors into moments of pure joy.
Their knowledge, their energy and, above all, a chat by the fireside made us want to bring our worlds together to create this unique weekend and, thanks to them, learn a little more about the natural world around us.
Just imagine: early September. Setting off on an adventure on foot, strolling leisurely downriver to your holiday spot for the night: the great outdoors. Then being introduced to the world of bushcraft and survival through unique activities for the whole family.
Location: La Roche-en-Ardenne, on the banks of the Ourthe
Age and prerequisites:
- From 7-8 years
- Being able to walk 3 km
Price:
- 195€/adult (more than 13 years)
- 140€/child (less than 13 years)
This includes:
- A guided packraft hike
- Two or three bushcraft and survival taster sessions with Eric
- A night in a tent at an eco-camp, a magical spot just a stone’s throw from the Ourthe (equipment can be provided if required)
- Meals on Saturday evening and Sunday morning
