Wild getaway Weekend
The Wild getaway Weekend is a weekend-long adventure for adults (or big kids) who’d like to rediscover a deep connection with nature and its mysteries.
Eric, a primatologist by trade and a nature enthusiast, has a wealth of knowledge about us great apes and our environment. After a guided packraft trip, the founder of “Survie en famille” will welcome you to his eco-camp on the banks of the Ourthe and share his knowledge of the natural environment and gentle survival to help you understand nature and explore it in complete safety.
So if you’ve always dreamt of rediscovering the Ardennes and the Ourthe valley from a different perspective, and if you’d like to find out a bit more about bushcraft techniques and survival skills whilst stepping slightly outside your comfort zone, let yourself be swept away by what promises to be a weekend of shared experiences.
Location: La Roche-en-Ardenne, on the banks of the Ourthe
Price: 210€
This price includes:
- A guided packraft hike
- Three or four bushcraft and soft survival taster sessions with Eric
- A night under a tarp at a private eco-camp, a magical spot just a stone’s throw from the Ourthe (you can bring your own tent or opt for extra comfort for an additional charge)
- Lunch on Saturday (a local picnic), dinner on Saturday (a gourmet meal cooked over a fire) and breakfast on Sunday
This weekend is for adults only, but there’s a Robinson version for children.
