Summary

The history of our company begins in 1960 with the opening of the café “Le Vénitien” by Ferruccio Celot and Denise Liegeois in La Roche-en-Ardenne. In 1982, their daughter Bernadette Celot and son-in-law Claude Christophe took over the café. In 1994, they added a small local shop called “La Cave du Vénitien” which offers a selection of beers. In 2004, Claude launched his own lager, “La Féodale de la Roche”, followed by a dark version the following year. In 2010, they collaborated with the designer Dany to create new beer labels based on the legend of the feudal castle of La Roche. In 2007, they decided to close the tavern and expand “La Cave du Vénitien” which now offers more than 380 beers and derivatives, also offering personalized gift package options according to customers’ budget. Today, the establishment is a must-see for beer lovers in La Roche-en-Ardenne.
