Summary
A house steeped in history that will delight enthusiasts. But not only ! The house belonged to Léa, a name that still echoes within its walls today. A strategic site for the withdrawal of an American colonel and his men during the Nazi occupation in ’44, the building now attracts many curiosities. Since then, it has been passed down through the generations before becoming the property of the youngest member of the family and being transformed into a dual residence: one shared by the owner with his wife and their three daughters, the second made available to travellers with a passion for history … or just in search of the tranquillity that the Ardennes have the secret of! There’s a desire here to remember, but also (and above all!) a desire to share a place where you feel good. Firstly, through a selection of materials and fittings that enhance the essence of this Ardennes home: use of local wood, restoration of the original parquet flooring, traditional wood-fired heating, etc. Secondly, through the integration of quality equipment to guarantee residents a fully comfortable stay. All the more reason to pin up the top-of-the-range bedding or the barbecue with its elegantly integrated terrace railings. The whole experience is enhanced by a warm and generous welcome, in an XXL green setting. The house features leisure facilities for all generations. A large relaxation room with billiards and a host of board games, plus an underground jacuzzi, illustrate the concept of a family meeting place. And if the weather is fine, there are plenty of walking routes right on your doorstep. Take the opportunity to stop off at the village farm and pick up some hot chocolate on your way back!
