Summary

Jeanne is a little bit of a woman who, during the 40-45 war, did not hesitate for a second to invest herself to continue to run the family butchery, even if it meant walking the 12.5km that separates Nadrin from La Roche every day. At the beginning of the war, Jeanne was pregnant, she then raised her son André alone for 5 years before her husband Charles, a prisoner of war, could finally join her. Jeanne is the great-grandmother of Neal Baltus, the Chef behind the stoves at Signé Jeanne. In every plate that comes out of Neal’s kitchen, we find a little bit of Jeanne, her strength, her determination, her irresistible will to live.
