Summary
This remarkable site is the perfect place to enjoy the wild beauty of nature and take part in a host of activities. Nisramont is first and foremost a lake, where the Western and Eastern Ourthe meet. It is also a dam, a veritable water reserve designed to supply drinking water to all the surrounding valleys. At 116 m long and 16 m high, it is also a hydroelectric power station and a water treatment station. Above all, it’s an exceptional and fabulous site right in the heart of nature! Nature and pleasures Coming to Nisramont means embarking on one of the most beautiful walks in the Ardennes, a total change of scenery, bucolic and unexpected, in the heart of unspoilt, virtually untamed nature. You’ll discover superb views along the steep paths, along the slopes of the Ourthe, around the lake or on one of the many walks. As well as the pleasures of walking, the lake of Nisramont offers a host of activities to help you relax: fishing, paddling, canoeing, kayaking, etc.
