Summary
Come and visit us in the heart of La Roche-en-Ardenne, inside a local house converted into a butcher’s and delicatessen that has been run by the Bouillon family since 1955. The preparation of genuine Ardenne ham and sausage, with protected geographical indication (PGI), is no longer a secret to them. Head for Erezée, or more precisely the hamlet of Briscol, where artisan chocolatier Defroidmont invites you to discover the flavours of chocolate and the different stages in its manufacture – when the ingredients are healthy, tasty and locally produced, it’s even better! The same goes for beer. The microbrewery in the small village of Oster produces a number of special top-fermented beers, refermented in 75 cl bottles. The welcome is warm and friendly. If you see a flock of sheep near the hamlet of Laiprangeleux, don’t hesitate to make a diversion to the Bergerie de l’Isbelle to ask for the tomme of the same name, or a berbizou, berbizan, grillou,…. At the reception of the royal tourist office in Marcourt-Beffe, taste the Nectar de Montaigu, a delicious elixir made from raspberries, the last stop on this gourmet itinerary. We wish you a pleasant journey!
